One customer asked me the other day, “Chris, how do you wash your Apron?” and my answer to him was that you do not. I could not imagine putting the apron into a washing machine and ruin the leather.
At the same time, I have been using this Apron for about an year and being in Los Angeles where it is warm to put it mildly and the nature of work I do, I sweat quite a lot and lately its neck strap started to smell like “Mustard & Vinegar mixed sauce gone terribly bad”.
so I’ve decided it is a time for a part replacement. Old & Stinky denim were carefully removed.
and new denim straps were sewn on top of the original part and trimmed precisely.
Why did I not think of this? Thank you Mr.Nasta for sharing your thought and allowing me to enjoy this Apron even more so. This apron is my #Legacy and I would like yours to be your #Legacy.
Since you worked so hard to break in the denim and earned the patina on the leather, we will replace the neck strap for you so that you’d continue to enjoy your Apron for years to come.
